A muslim is one who submits herself. Submits the will of Allaah. As a muslim, I don’t wish for anything but to follow the decree of Allaah, the Allmighty. But why do I want that? Some people might think that submission is something bad, they can not see the good in it. They see it as lowering oneself, or denying oneself. But that is what makes my life complete in this world, and hopefully, in shaa Allaah, the complete and absolute perfection in the next life. I will inshaAllaah, Godwilling, explain myself here and why I choose this for my life, for my way of living my life.
Allaah, God, is the one that has created the earth and the heavens. Look around in the creation of Allaah. How amazing isn’t it? How magnificent, beautiful, wonderful. No human being can ever make anything like it. The way it all works in perfection, subhanAllaah. Everything with its specific purpose and specific cycle.
Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding. [Soorah Aal Imraan:190.]
And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? [Soorah Adh-Dhaariyaat: 20, 21]
And Allâh has brought you forth from the (dust of) earth. Afterwards He will return you into it (the earth), and bring you forth (again on the Day of Resurrection)? [Soorah Nooh: 17, 18].
See you not, that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding. [Soorah Az-Zumaar:21]
And the amazing miracle when a new life begins! Imagine that inside of me, a human being, a new life, a new human being starts its own cycle, its own path in this life towards the hereafter.
O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily! We have created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge i.e. offspring of Adam), then from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) then from a little lump of flesh,— some formed and some unformed (as in the case of miscarriage), that We may make (it) clear to you (i.e. to show you Our Power and Ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants,[] then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth). [Soorah Al-Hajj: 5]
All these amazing and incredible miracles are the clear proofs for someone or something that has created all this. It is not a coincidence that everything works in this perfect way. It is not a coincidence that it all once started and became and then developed in this fantastic way. There is a thought, a meaning, behind it all, behind the creation. There is a Creator. This Creator is also the One who created me and given me everything I need and more than that. The Creator is always present. How lost wouldn’t mankind be if He left us all alone. How destroyed wouldn’t the creation, the earth and the heavens be if He left all this without supervision. The Creator is the one who is constantly watching over His creation. It is He who guides us. Who leads us upon the straight path. The path towards the complete and utter perfection, bliss and blessing. The proofs are there, but do we want to see them? Do we want to follow them? Do we want to submit to them? The creation has been guided all the time. All the way from the beginning of the creation, Allaah has sent us guides, prophets and messengers, may Allaahs peace and blessings be upon them all. They all came to us with the same message. The message of the One and Only Creator, the One God and for us to submit and believe in this Creator and God and worship Him and not to associate any partners with Him. If we do that, we will receive the greatest reward we ever can imagine. It is even greater than we can imagine.
But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom they say: ”Why this is what we were fed with before” for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (forever). [soorah Al-Baqarah: 25]
Race with one another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord (Allâh), and Paradise the width whereof is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allâh and His Messengers. That is the Grace of Allâh which He bestows on whom He is pleased with. And Allâh is the Owner of Great Bounty. [soorah Al-Hadid: 21]
No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do [soorah As-Sajda: 12]

Assalaamu alaykum,
MashaaAllaah. When I read that.. I was hoping or wishing I could love Allaah as much as the writer does or did at the time it was written. It was beautiful to read this. Having Allaah with us gives us the purpose and meaning of life. Our lives can be a mess without understanding Him, without knowing and accepting Him.. without Him to turn to. You’re right Islam is the way to utter perfection at the end of the road, even if we may not be perfect in this life. But that’s what we strive for. We humans make mistakes, and we have Him to ask for forgiveness. We submit to Him. Submission and humbleness can never be bad things when it comes to Islam, as long as we don’t submit to any of the creations.
I am happy that you chose Islam and you got to meet people, and most of all that people got to meet you and learn from you. Perhaps your words and kindness that Islam taught you guided someone or made them a better person. Your messages are always clear and beautiful, alhamdulillah. Hope Allaah blesses you with the best of things in both lives and grants you and us paradise, and protect us all from hellfire. JazakiAllaahuKhayr
